Frequently Asked Questions
Aren't blue light glasses kind of a scam?
The studies you've seen tested clear and amber daytime computer glasses. Different product, different mechanism. Red-lens evening glasses block a much wider spectrum (400–550nm, blue + green) and are designed specifically for sleep. Different category, different results.
Won't the red lenses make everything look weirdly dark?
Yes — that's how you know they're working. You'll see things in a warm red tone for the 1–2 hours you wear them before bed. About three nights to adjust. You're not driving in them; you're winding down.
How is this different from Night Shift on my phone?
Night Shift filters part of the blue spectrum on your phone screen only. Doesn't touch your TV, laptop, bedroom lights, or your partner's phone. Luxari blocks the full short-wavelength range at the eye — the only point in the chain that matters.
How long until I notice a difference?
Most customers report falling asleep faster within the first week. Morning clarity tends to show up around days 10–14. You'll have a strong sense by night ten whether they're working for you.
Why $45 when other brands charge $80–$200?
Because we're a small Australian brand without a luxury markup or celebrity ambassador budget. Same lens technology as the premium players. We just don't charge what they do.
